In this advanced Excel course, we look at three crucial advanced Excel features Power Pivot, Power Query, and DAX. This suite of Excel functions allows you to manipulate, analyze, and evaluate millions of rows of data from Excel or other databases. Once Power Query has imported and cleaned the various data sources, Power Pivot is used to establish relationships between the tables/queries. Then using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), the formula language of Power Pivot, you can create more powerful calculations and more sophisticated data models than you can in Excel alone. We can connect almost any data source in Power Query, but PowerPivot data model is not included in that extensive list of sources out of the box.
